The advisory follows the High Court of Maharashtra’s order dated 13 October 2025 in Public Interest Litigation No. 71/2013, which mandates the PMC to establish a clear procedure for addressing injuries or fatalities resulting from pothole-related accidents within city limits.

Citizens affected by such incidents, including those who have sustained injuries or lost family members, are requested to submit a detailed application along with all relevant supporting documents to:

All submissions will be reviewed by a committee constituted under the High Court’s directive, and necessary action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
