MHADA Announces First Come, First Served Scheme for Pune Housing Units, Homebuyers Can Book Flats Online From May 4

Pune, 24th April 2026: The Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has announced sale of houses under the Pune Housing and Area Development Board on a first come, first served basis, instead of the lottery system.

The online booking process for the scheme will begin on May 4, 2026, at 11.30 am through MHADA’s official website.

According to officials, the houses are located in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad areas including Chikhali, Tathawade, Wakad, Lohegaon, Mundhwa, Yewalewadi, Kiwale, Fursungi, Dudulgaon, Pisoli, Balewadi, Hadapsar and Punawale areas.

The scheme includes 1RK, 1BHK and 2BHK flats. Prices, area and facilities will differ depending on the location and project.

Applicants can check details of available units, pricing and project information on the official portal before submitting applications.

Officials said applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply. They must either be residents of Maharashtra or should have stayed in the state for at least 15 out of the last 20 years.

Applicants will also have to submit income proof for financial years 2024-25 and 2025-26 either through Income Tax Returns or a Tahsildar certificate.

MHADA has advised applicants to carefully enter their bank account number and IFSC code while filling the online form.

The authority said the information booklet for the housing scheme will also be available on the same website.
