Elections were announced for 17 seats in the corporation. Of these, three candidates were elected unopposed, while voting was held for the remaining 14 seats. The Samarth Panel emerged victorious in all 14 contested seats, securing a clean sweep.
The winning panel comprised Meghraj Rajebhosale, Sunil Mahajan, Deepak Kadam, Ajit Shirole, Raj Kazi, Sushant Shelar, Dhanaji Yamkar, Subhash Nakase, Sharad Chavan, Pravin Patil, Chaitrali Dongre, Ravindra Gavade, Ganesh Gargote and Vikas Torane.
The outcome means that the corporation’s affairs for the next five years will remain under the leadership of the Samarth Panel, which will now oversee efforts related to the development of the organisation and address issues concerning the Marathi film industry.
Reacting to the victory, Rajebhosale said the result reflected the confidence reposed by members in the panel’s work over the past decade.

Through this verdict, the members have clearly rejected those accusations and expressed their faith in the work we have done over the last ten years. This victory is recognition of our efforts and motivates us to work with greater dedication for the welfare of all members and the Marathi film industry,” he said.
