Bosch, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Among Firms Offering Internships Under PM Internship Scheme in Pune, Over 31,000 Opportunities Announced

Pune, 12th June 2026: The Central Government has launched the third phase of the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PMIS) 2026, offering more than 31,480 internship opportunities across the country. The scheme is expected to provide young people with hands-on industry experience at several leading companies.

Under the scheme, candidates aged between 18 and 25 years who are Indian citizens and have completed Class 10, Class 12, ITI, diploma or graduation are eligible to apply. Candidates engaged in full-time employment or pursuing regular full-time education are not eligible. However, students enrolled in online or distance-learning programmes can apply.

The internship duration will range from six to nine months, during which selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 9,000. Participants will also be awarded a certificate upon successful completion of the internship.

Several reputed companies in Pune district have announced internship openings under the scheme. These include Jubilant FoodWorks Ltd (192 positions), Bosch Ltd (300), Reliance Industries Ltd (33), Tech Mahindra (30), Skoda Auto Volkswagen India Pvt Ltd (19), Emami Ltd (15), Finolex Cables Ltd (15), Cognizant Technology Solutions India Pvt Ltd (14), IBM India Pvt Ltd (10) and Mahindra & Mahindra (254).

Officials said the application window is limited and urged eligible candidates to register and apply through the PM Internship Scheme portal.

Interested applicants can visit the portal at pminternship.mca.gov.in to complete registration and apply for available positions.
