Pune–Sainagar Shirdi Gets Daily Direct Train; Reservations Begin June 21

Pune, 20th June 2026: Central Railway has announced the commencement of regular services of a new daily express train between Pune and Sainagar Shirdi, aimed at providing direct rail connectivity between the two cities. The train will begin regular operations from June 22, 2026.

Train No. 11423 Pune–Sainagar Shirdi Express will depart Pune daily at 6:55 am and reach Sainagar Shirdi at 12:00 noon on the same day. In the return direction, Train No. 11424 Sainagar Shirdi–Pune Express will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 6:10 pm and arrive in Pune at 11:55 pm.

The train will halt at Daund Chord Line, Shrigonda Road, Ahilyanagar, Rahuri and Belapur stations en route.

According to the railway notification, the service will operate with 15 LHB coaches comprising one AC Chair Car, eight Second Class Chair Cars, four General Second Class coaches, one Generator Car and one Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van. The train will run entirely on electric traction.

Reservations for the new daily service will open on June 21, 2026, through all computerized Passenger Reservation System (PRS) counters as well as the IRCTC booking platform.

Passengers can check train timings and operational updates through the Indian Railways enquiry portal and the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) mobile application before commencing their journey.
