Pune to Danapur in 34 Hours: Non-AC Weekly Amrit Bharat Express Opens for Booking on June 22
Pune, 20th June 2026: Passengers travelling between Pune and Bihar will soon have a new affordable long-distance rail option, with the Ministry of Railways approving the introduction of the Pune–Danapur Amrit Bharat Weekly Express.
The new non-AC train service, numbered 11431/11432, will operate once a week in both directions and connect Pune with Danapur in Bihar via Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
Train No. 11431 Pune–Danapur Amrit Bharat Express will commence regular operations from June 27, 2026. The train will depart Pune every Saturday at 3:25 pm and reach Danapur at 1:30 am on Monday, taking approximately 34 hours and 5 minutes to complete the journey.
In the return direction, Train No. 11432 Danapur–Pune Amrit Bharat Express will begin regular service from June 29, 2026. It will leave Danapur every Monday at 3:30 am and arrive in Pune at 11:05 am on Tuesday. The journey duration will be around 31 hours and 35 minutes.
The train will halt at Daund Chord Line, Ahilyanagar (Ahmednagar), Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar and Ara in both directions.
The rake will comprise 18 coaches, including eight Sleeper Class coaches, seven General Second Class coaches, one Pantry Car and two Guard-cum-Luggage Vans. The train will operate as a fully non-AC service under the Amrit Bharat category.
Advance reservations for Train No. 11431 Pune–Danapur Amrit Bharat Express will open on June 22, 2026, through the Passenger Reservation System (PRS) network and the IRCTC online ticketing platform.
Passengers can check detailed timings of the train at intermediate stations through the Indian Railways enquiry portal and the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) mobile application.
