Pune Traffic Alert: Heavy Vehicles Diverted Due to Theur Phata Flyover Repair on Pune–Solapur Highway
Pune, 29th June 2026: The Pune district administration has announced a temporary diversion for heavy vehicles travelling from Theur Phata towards Lonikand on the Pune–Solapur Highway due to repair work on the Theur Phata railway flyover.
District Collector and District Magistrate Jitendra Dudi has issued an order diverting heavy vehicular traffic from Kedgaon Chowphula until 12 midnight on 8th July 2026 to facilitate the repair work.
As per the traffic arrangement, heavy vehicles travelling from Theur Phata towards Lonikand will be diverted via the Kedgaon Chowphula–Nhavare Road, passing through Talegaon Dhamdhere and Shirur before rejoining their intended route.
The district administration has appealed to motorists, particularly drivers of heavy vehicles, to use the designated alternative route and cooperate with authorities to ensure smooth traffic movement and the timely completion of the flyover repair work.
