Hadapsar, 3rd July 2026: The Hadapsar–Dive Ghat Road, which forms part of the Alandi–Pandharpur Palkhi route, will remain closed to all vehicular traffic for two hours on Saturday, July 4, to facilitate the removal of dangerous rocks along the roadside.

According to the Traffic Police, the rock removal work will be carried out with the help of heavy machinery between 12 noon and 2 pm. As a precautionary measure, all types of vehicles will be prohibited from using the Hadapsar–Dive Ghat stretch during this period.

The temporary closure has been planned to ensure the safety of Warkaris, devotees, and motorists during the annual Palkhi procession.

Police have appealed to citizens and vehicle owners to avoid travelling on the Hadapsar–Dive Ghat Road between 12 pm and 2 pm and instead use alternate routes to reach their destinations.

The Traffic Police also urged the public to cooperate with the police administration and follow traffic advisories to ensure smooth traffic management and the safe conduct of the Palkhi procession.
