Pune–Danapur, Hadapsar–Jhansi Special Trains Extended Till September; Reservation Start July 5

Pune, 4th July 2026: Central Railway has announced the extension of 216 special train services, including trains originating from Pune and Hadapsar, to meet passenger demand. Reservations for selected services will open on July 5 through computerized reservation centres and the IRCTC website.

The extension includes 150 daily services and 66 weekly services, with the timings, routes and halts of all trains remaining unchanged.

Among the key services for Pune passengers, Train No. 01449 Pune–Danapur Daily Special has been extended to operate from July 16 to September 28, adding 75 trips. The return service, Train No. 01450 Danapur–Pune Daily Special, will run from July 18 to September 30, also with 75 additional trips.

For passengers travelling from Hadapsar, Central Railway has extended two pairs of weekly special trains connecting Hadapsar with Virangana Laxmibai Jhansi.

Train No. 01921 Hadapsar–Virangana Laxmibai Jhansi Weekly Special will operate every Thursday from July 23 to October 1, while Train No. 01922 Virangana Laxmibai Jhansi–Hadapsar Weekly Special will run every Wednesday from July 22 to September 30.

Another weekly pair, Train No. 01923 Hadapsar–Virangana Laxmibai Jhansi Weekly Special, has been extended to run every Sunday from July 19 to September 27. Its return service, Train No. 01924 Virangana Laxmibai Jhansi–Hadapsar Weekly Special, will operate every Saturday from July 18 to September 26.

Central Railway has also extended the Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Kanpur Weekly Special services. Train No. 04152 will run every Saturday from July 18 to September 26, while Train No. 04151 will operate every Friday from July 17 to September 25.

Reservations for Train Nos. 01449 (Pune–Danapur), 01921, 01923 (Hadapsar–Virangana Laxmibai Jhansi) and 04152 (Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Kanpur) will open on July 5. Booking for unreserved coaches will continue through the UTS system.

Central Railway stated that the composition, route, stoppages and timings of all these special trains will remain unchanged during the extended period.
