Pune, 13th July 2026: After laying the foundation of Swarajya, when Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj met his father Shahaji Raje, the latter advised him never to be satisfied with his achievements and to constantly strive for greater accomplishments. In the same spirit, when Anand returned to India after completing his higher education abroad, I encouraged him to draw inspiration from this story. While I could never achieve what Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj did, Anand’s remarkable accomplishments have given me the privilege of experiencing the pride that Shahaji Raje must have felt, said Dada Deshpande while speaking about his son, Anand Deshpande, Founder of Persistent Systems.

He was speaking at the inauguration of the new office of LegaLogic, a full-service law firm with a team of 125+ lawyers, at Suma Center, Erandwane, Pune. Anand Deshpande, Bharat Phatak, Director of Wealth Managers, Ajay Pitre, Chairman of Pitre Ventures, along with Vivek Sadhale, Shridhar Kulkarni and Vikas Agarwal, Co-founders of LegaLogic were present on the occasion.

Dada Deshpande also appealed to LegaLogic to support small entrepreneurs and help as many small and medium-sized enterprises as possible to grow and succeed.

Speaking on the occasion, Anand Deshpande said, “The offices are a good proxy for growth. If you see the big office, you see lots of people, you know that growth is happening. As LegaLogic plans its future expansion, it should look beyond Pune and consider establishing offices in global cities such as San Francisco and New York. The firm should pursue the dream of building a globally recognized law firm that has its roots in Pune.”

Vivek Sadhale, Co-founder of LegaLogic, said that the new office has been established to provide state of art infrastructure for the firm’s growing team of lawyers and to enhance its ability to serve clients in India as well as international clients with business interests in the country. He added that the expansion will significantly strengthen the firm’s capabilities across key practice areas including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, corporate and commercial law, data privacy, insurance advisory, software compliance, corporate governance, employment laws, real estate, intellectual property rights, private client practice, arbitration, and family law.

LegaLogic was founded in 2013 by Vikas Agrawal, Shridhar Kulkarni, and Vivek Sadale. Since its inception, the firm has focused on delivering practical, effective, and result-oriented legal solutions. Today, with 10 partners and a team of more than 125 lawyers, the firm represents clients in corporate, non-litigation, and litigation matters. LegaLogic’s lawyers are recognised for their in-depth legal expertise, transparency, and effective communication.

As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, LegaLogic has consistently supported students pursuing legal education. In addition to providing financial assistance for their studies, the firm has played a significant role in exposing students to emerging developments in legal technology and artificial intelligence. LegaLogic has also collaborated with several leading universities to strengthen the interface between legal education and technology, enabling academic institutions to develop technology-driven solutions relevant to the legal profession.
