Why have the Police hidden ‘Polygraph Test’ report of K T Naveen Kumar ! – HJS asks

Bengaluru – The Special Investigation Team (SIT) constituted in journalist Gauri Lankesh murder case has arrested Maddur’s K T Naveen Kumar of Hindu Yuva Sena, and 4 others. ‘Leaked reports’ regarding the investigation have appeared in the media with malafide intention to implicate the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in this case; political conspiracy is behind this, HJS said in a statement.

“On the one hand, the names of devout Hindus are being mentioned in this case, on the other, the result of the ‘Polygraph Test’ conducted on arrested suspect Mr. Naveen Kumar and its reference is being avoided by the Police. In this ‘Polygraph Test’ all the accusations that were got forcibly written by the Police from Naveen Kumar are established as false. Some activists of Naveen Kumar had also expressed before media that the Police had physically assaulted Naveen Kumar and forced him to write the false confession. Therefore, all the claims made against the Spokesperson for Karnataka of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Mr. Mohan Gowda are proved as false”.

It further added, “despite this, the false allegations that Shri. Mohan Gowda of the HJS had introduced Praveen (who is said to be one of the accused in the Gauri Lankesh murder case) to Naveen Kumar during one such Hindu Adhiveshan is being made.”

Shri. Mohan Gowda, while addressing the media, said that he is willing to undergo a narco test regarding any such involvement as alleged by Naveen Kumar.
“But at the same time
1. Dinesh Amin Mattu who allegedly issued a contract to kill staunch Hindu writer Shri. Rohit Chakrathirtha, should also undergo a Narco test
2. Jignesh Mevani, who is alleged to be involved in the Bhima Koregaon riots as well as the conspiracy to murder Prime Minister Shri. Narendra Modi, should also undergo a Narco test.”

Shri. Mohan Gowda also said that in Maharashtra, the investigating teams probing the murders of Dr Narendra Dabholkar and Comrade Pansare have completely ignored frauds committed by organisations associated with the deceased as a possible motive for the murder. He appealed to the Karnataka investigation agencies to run the probe in a fair and balanced manner, unlike that in Maharashtra.

Shri. Gowda was addressing a press conference organised by Hindu Janajagruti Samiti in the Press club of Bengaluru. Sri Ram Sena’s Founder President Shri. Pramod Mutalik and President of Voice of Justices and practising advocate in the Bengaluru High Court, Advocate Shri. N. P. Amruthesh were also present during the press conference.

Shri. Pramod Muthalik (founder President of Sri Ram Sene) while addressing the media said that to create the bogey of Saffron Terror, innocent seekers of Sanatan Santha were made scapegoats in the Thane Bomb Blast case, similarly Sadhvi Pragya Singh Thakur was implicated in the Malegaon bomb blast case. This conspiracy later came to light and the Congress party was left shamefully exposed before the public. He said that the same was repeated in Mangalore Pub attack case wherein he and other activists were later acquitted by the Hon’ble Court. Two days back, 2 devout Hindus from Sindhagi town in Vijaypur District were apprehended by the Polce. However, there is no official record about that in the Police station. Similarly, no intimation about the same was given to the families of apprehended devout Hindus. Therefore, it is not known whether they were abducted or they were killed by the Police. Is this a method of investigation ? Can anyone do anything like this today ?

Advocate N. P. Amruthesh added that the police investigating the case has failed to follow all the guidelines of the Apex Court and that the Constitutional Rights of all the accused have been violated. He said that it was painful to know that the Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Kasab who was arrested in the 26/11 Mumbai siege case received legal aid. He demanded to know why the accused in Gauri Lankesh case were being denied legal aid.

Gowda said, “From the report given by the ‘Directorate of Forensic Sciences’, it is clear that Naveen Kumar did not know Gauri Lankesh. Similarly, it is clearly mentioned in the report that one Pravin who met him belonged to the organisation ‘Sambhaji Brigade’. Therefore, we wish to inform that the Police are defaming Hindu Janajagruti Samiti by suppressing this report.”
