SPPU Results 2026: Pune University Declares Major UG, PG Results; MBA Results Underway
Pune, 26th July 2026: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has successfully completed its April-May 2026 examination session, with several undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and professional course examinations conducted and results declared according to a planned schedule, the university said.
The university said the examination process, including planning, conduct of examinations, evaluation and declaration of results, was completed with a focus on students’ academic interests.
Results for Law, Education and Physical Education programmes were declared before June 30, 2026. Results for B.A., B.Com. and B.Sc. programmes under the 2019 pattern were also announced by the end of June.
Results for M.A., M.Com. and M.Sc. programmes under the 2019 pattern were declared before July 20, while results for B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., M.A., M.Com. and M.Sc. programmes under the National Education Policy (NEP) were announced before July 24, according to the university.
The university said examinations in Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Law, Education and various other UG, PG and professional programmes were completed successfully, with results being declared in phases.
Results for final and pre-final year Engineering, final-year B.Pharm and Architecture programmes were announced by July 15. The result process for first- and second-year Engineering and MBA programmes is currently underway as per the scheduled timeline, the university said.
Special opportunity for students with backlogs
As part of its student-focused measures, SPPU provided a special opportunity for students whose course terms had expired under the N+2+1 rule, as well as final-year and pre-final-year students with backlogs, to appear for the April-May 2026 university examinations.
The university said the initiative provided students with an opportunity to complete their pending academic requirements and obtain their degrees.
The special examination opportunity was extended to eligible regular students as well as students covered under the N+2+1 provision, students whose terms had expired and final- and pre-final-year students with backlogs.
SPPU said the timely conduct of examinations, transparent evaluation and phased declaration of results reflected its focus on student welfare, transparency and efficient examination management.
The university credited the administration, Board of Examinations and Evaluation, principals of affiliated colleges, teaching and non-teaching staff and other stakeholders for their cooperation in successfully completing the April-May 2026 examination session.
