Pune Yard Block on August 2: 7 Trains Cancelled, 7 Short-Terminated and 4 Short-Originated

Pune, 29th July 2026: Central Railway’s Pune Division will operate a nine-hour special traffic and power block on August 2 in Pune Yard to undertake engineering, Signal & Telecommunication (S&T) and Overhead Equipment (OHE) works, resulting in cancellations and changes to several train services.

The block will be operated from 8 am to 5 pm on Sunday, August 2, for the replacement of DDS Point Nos. 232 (II & III) and 226 (I & II) and the upgradation of the existing 52KG layout to a 60KG layout in the Pune–Daund section.

During the block, Platform No. 1, the UP Main line towards Pune Yard and Line Nos. 1 to 6 will remain unavailable for train movements. The restrictions will affect suburban, express and DEMU services.

Seven trains cancelled

The following trains will remain fully cancelled on August 2:

– 99902 Pune–Talegaon Suburban
– 99903 Talegaon–Pune Suburban
– 99818 Pune–Lonavala Suburban
– 99817 Lonavala–Shivajinagar Suburban
– 11007 CSMT Mumbai–Pune Express
– 11008 Pune–CSMT Mumbai Express
– 71407 Pune–Daund DEMU

Seven trains to short-terminate

The following services will terminate before their scheduled destination:

– 12940 Jaipur–Pune Express (JCO August 1): Short terminates at Khadki.
– 12136 Nagpur–Pune Express (JCO August 1): Short terminates at Hadapsar.
– 11406 Amravati–Pune Express (JCO August 1): Short terminates at Hadapsar.
– 12127 CSMT Mumbai–Pune Express (JCO August 2): Short terminates at Khadki.
– 11078 Jammu Tawi–Pune Express (JCO July 31): Short terminates at Hadapsar.
– 99813 Lonavala–Pune Suburban (JCO August 2): Short terminates at Shivajinagar.
– 71406 Baramati–Pune DEMU (JCO August 2): Short terminates at Daund.

Four trains to short-originate

Four services will commence their journeys from intermediate stations instead of Pune:

– 99820 Pune–Lonavala Suburban (JCO August 2): Will originate from Shivajinagar.
– 12939 Pune–Jaipur Express (JCO August 2): Will originate from Khadki at 5:35 pm.
– 12135 Pune–Nagpur Express (JCO August 2): Will originate from Hadapsar at 5:45 pm.
– 12128 Pune–CSMT Mumbai Express (JCO August 2): Will originate from Khadki at 5:55 pm.

The railway has advised passengers to check the latest running status and revised schedules before starting their journey, particularly as the changes include cancellations, short terminations and short originations.
