Pune–Shirdi Express Records Lowest Occupancy at 37%; Pune–Kolhapur Vande Bharat, Hadapsar–Danapur Amrit Bharat Also Below 66%

Pune, 11th Aug 2026: The Pune–Sainagar Shirdi Express (Train No. 11423) recorded 37.71 per cent end-to-end booking occupancy between April 1 and July 28, 2026, placing it among the lower-occupancy regular Pune services covered in Central Railway’s latest occupancy data.
The train carried 12,474 passengers during the period and generated earnings of ₹20.09 lakh, according to the report.
Its return service, Sainagar Shirdi–Pune Express (Train No. 11424), recorded an even lower 30.90 per cent booking occupancy. The service carried 10,224 passengers and generated earnings of ₹16.87 lakh during the same period.
The Pune–Kolhapur Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20673) recorded 58.22 per cent end-to-end booking occupancy. The train carried 15,739 passengers and generated earnings of ₹1.51 crore.
The Hadapsar–Danapur Amrit Bharat Express (Train No. 1331) registered 65 per cent occupancy, carrying 416 passengers and generating earnings of ₹2.42 lakh.
The return Kolhapur–Pune Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20674) recorded 70.87 per cent occupancy, with 19,158 passengers and earnings of ₹1.60 crore.
The occupancy data also records 94.66 per cent booking occupancy for the Pune–Hubballi Vande Bharat Express (Train No. 20670), while the Pune–Nagpur Special services recorded occupancy above 100 per cent.
