Pune: Diveghat Traffic Halt For Two Hours Today Due To Road-Widening Blasting Work
Hadapsar, 19th August 2026: Traffic movement through Diveghat will be stopped for two hours on Wednesday, August 19, due to blasting operations being carried out for the ongoing road-widening work between Hadapsar and Diveghat.
According to the Pune City Traffic Branch, the restriction will be in place from 12 noon to 2 pm. No vehicles will be permitted to pass through the affected stretch during this period.
The blasting is being undertaken as part of the road-widening project on the Alandi-Pandharpur Palkhi Highway. The temporary closure has been introduced as a safety measure while the work is in progress.
Motorists travelling towards or through Diveghat have been asked to avoid the route during the two-hour window and plan their journeys using alternative roads to prevent delays.
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and Pune City Traffic Branch have urged commuters to cooperate with traffic personnel and follow the instructions issued at the site.
Commuters travelling between Hadapsar and Diveghat are advised to factor in the restriction while planning their Wednesday afternoon journeys.
