PMPML’s all-time highest single-day revenue remains Rs 2.61 crore, recorded during Raksha Bandhan in 2025. However, August 17 marked the first time the transport body crossed the Rs 2.5-crore mark on an ordinary day without a festival or transport strike.

Earlier, PMPML had recorded daily revenues of Rs 2.04 crore during the 2022 auto-rickshaw strike and Rs 2.06 crore after Diwali in 2023.

PMPML chairman and managing director Mahesh Awhad attributed the latest performance to planned management, better time management, disciplined operations and coordinated efforts by employees.
