Husband kills Wife’s Alleged Lover With Knife in Bhor

Bhor, 29th August 2026: A 35-year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by the husband of a woman he was accompanying at Sarola in Bhor taluka on Thursday night, police said.

The deceased was identified as Amar Nandu Pawar (35), a resident of Shindewadi in Khandala taluka of Satara district. Police arrested the accused, Deepak Jagannath Pal, a native of Uttar Pradesh, shortly after the incident.

According to police, Pawar, the accused’s wife and her daughter were walking along the Sarola-Veer road around 9pm on Thursday when Pal allegedly approached them from behind and attacked Pawar with a knife, stabbing him on the neck and throat.

Police said Pal confessed to the crime, stating that he was angry with Pawar for allegedly luring his wife away and eloping with her.

Pal was caught by local residents while allegedly attempting to flee and was subsequently handed over to the Rajgad police. Pawar’s brother, Amit Pawar, lodged a complaint at the Rajgad police station.

Police are conducting further investigations.
