Pune: Hadapsar Gadtal Flyover To Remain Closed Overnight For Bearing Replacement Work

Hadapsar, 29th August 2026: The Hadapsar Gadtal flyover will remain closed to traffic from 11:55 pm on August 29 to 6 am on August 30 to facilitate bearing replacement work, the Pune Traffic Police said in an advisory.

The closure has been announced to allow the scheduled replacement of the bridge bearings to be carried out safely during the night.

To avoid traffic congestion in the Hadapsar Gadtal area, the Pune Traffic Police have advised motorists to use alternative routes during the closure.

According to the advisory, motorists travelling from Solapur and Pune have been asked to use the road below the Hadapsar flyover instead of taking the flyover.

Motorists travelling from the Saswad-Pune Road have also been advised not to use the flyover and instead take the road alongside the bridge and pass under the Gadtal bridge to travel towards Pune.

The traffic police have appealed to motorists to follow the suggested alternative routes and comply with instructions issued by traffic personnel.

The advisory added that traffic arrangements may be modified depending on the prevailing traffic situation and requirements. Adequate traffic police deployment has been made in the area to manage traffic and ensure safety.

The Pune Traffic Police have appealed to commuters to cooperate with the arrangements to ensure smooth and safe movement of traffic during the overnight closure.
