New Car, Viral Reel And Traffic Chaos: Youths Block Pune-Bengaluru Highway

Wakad, 31st August 2026: A group of youths allegedly disrupted traffic on the busy Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway while shooting a social media reel featuring a newly purchased car. The incident reportedly took place on the stretch between Balewadi and Bhujbal Chowk, causing traffic congestion and inconvenience to motorists.

According to the video circulating on social media, the youths stopped the car on the highway and began filming around the vehicle, allegedly obstructing the movement of other vehicles for some time.

The video has since gone viral on social media, showing several individuals recording the reel while traffic continues to move around the stationary vehicle.

The incident has raised concerns over the growing trend of creating social media content on public roads, particularly when such activities obstruct traffic and potentially compromise road safety.

The Pimpri-Chinchwad Traffic Police have taken cognisance of the viral video and initiated efforts to identify those involved. Further action is likely to be taken in accordance with the law.
