Diwali, Chhath Rush: Pune (Hadapsar)–Gorakhpur Daily Special Train Announced
Pune, 25th September 2026: To meet the additional passenger demand during the Diwali and Chhath Puja festive season, Central Railway will operate a daily special train between Hadapsar and Gorakhpur, offering 64 services on the route.
Train No. 01415 Hadapsar–Gorakhpur Special will depart from Hadapsar at 7:05 am daily from October 16 to November 16, 2026, and will reach Gorakhpur at 4:00 pm the following day. A total of 32 services will operate in this direction.
On the return journey, Train No. 01416 Gorakhpur–Hadapsar Special will depart from Gorakhpur at 5:30 pm daily from October 17 to November 17, 2026. The train will reach Hadapsar at 3:30 am on the third day, with 32 services scheduled.
Route and Stoppages
The train will halt at Daund Chord Cabin, Ahilyanagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda, Mankapur and Basti.
Coach Composition
The special train will comprise 18 coaches, including 4 AC 3-Tier coaches, 6 Sleeper Class coaches, 6 General Second Class coaches and 2 Second Seating-cum-Guard’s Brake Vans.
Booking Details
Advance reservations for Train No. 01415 will open on September 28, 2026 at computerised reservation centres and through the IRCTC website.
Unreserved tickets can be booked through the UTS system at normal charges. Passengers can also use the RailOne app for ticket booking.
Passengers can check detailed timings at intermediate stations through the Indian Railways enquiry portal or the NTES App.
