Navratri 2026 Lights Up Pune with Vibrant Garba and Dandiya Nights
Pune, 12th October 2026: As Sharad Navratri continues across the city, Pune is alive with colour, music and dance. The nine-night festival honouring Goddess Durga began on Sunday, October 11, and will culminate with Vijayadashami on Tuesday, October 20. Today marks the second day of celebrations, dedicated to Maa Brahmacharini.
Lawns, grounds, hotels and malls across Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad have transformed into energetic dance floors after sunset. From traditional Gujarati-style Garba circles to high-energy Dandiya nights with DJs and remixes, organisers are offering options for every budget and preference. Many events run for multiple nights or the full festival period, with tickets available on platforms such as BookMyShow and District.in.
Several multi-day celebrations stand out. Ramti Aave at D Y Patil Cricket Ground in Ravet is running from October 11 to 20, with gates opening around 6 pm and dancing from 7 pm onwards. Entry starts at approximately ₹150–200. Raas Rasiya Garba and Dandiya Season 4 at Nahata Lawns on Sinhgad Road began on the first day of Navratri and continues on selected nights, with gates at 7 pm and tickets from ₹70–249. Colour-themed dress codes and workshops are part of the experience.
This weekend and the coming days bring a concentrated wave of events. Pune’s Biggest Dandiya Nights at Mahalaxmi Lawns in Karve Nagar is scheduled for October 16–19, starting at 7 pm (gates around 6:30 pm), with entry from ₹149. Dandiya Dhoom 9.0 at The Orchid Hotel and related Balewadi venues will take place on October 16–18 from 5:30 pm, with tickets starting at ₹249. Dandiya United is hosting simultaneous events on both sides of the city from October 16–18, beginning at 6 pm. The East Pune edition is at The Mills, while the West Pune version is at Phoenix Mall of the Millennium in Wakad. Tickets start at ₹100, with higher packages for couples, groups and tables. The events emphasise traditional Gujarati vibes, a fasting-friendly menu and family-friendly programming.
Other popular options include Rangilo Raas at Oasis Lawn, Amanora Mall (October 16–17, 7 pm onwards), budget-friendly nights such as Rhythm Raas 3.0 and Garba Fever 3.0 (entry from ₹49), Jalsa 4.0 at Vardhman Lawns on October 18, and a children-focused Dandiya Delight 4.0 in Kharadi. A Gen Z-themed night is planned for October 17 in Narhe, while a Ravan Dahan-linked Garba event is scheduled for Dussehra on October 20.
Pune Police have announced traffic diversions and parking restrictions around major temples including Chatushrungi, Bhavani Mata and Tambdi Jogeshwari for the duration of the festival to manage crowds of devotees.
Most venues prefer traditional or ethnic attire, with dandiya sticks available for purchase or hire on site. Age limits, ID requirements and policies on solo entry or pets vary by organiser. Many events are non-alcoholic and feature food stalls alongside contests and photo zones.
Organisers advise booking in advance and arriving 30–45 minutes early for security checks. Schedules and prices may be updated, so attendees are encouraged to check official ticketing platforms for the latest details.
With the festive season in full swing, Pune’s Garba and Dandiya nights continue to draw families, friends and first-time dancers into the celebration of devotion and rhythm.
