Jay Pawar Meets CID Officials in Pune, Seeks Update on Probe Into Ajit Pawar Plane Crash

Pune, 28th October 2026: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) youth leader Jay Ajit Pawar met Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officials in Pune on Thursday to review the investigation into the plane crash involving his late father, Ajit Pawar.

During the meeting, Jay Pawar sought a detailed update on the status of the investigation, the action taken so far, the pending aspects of the probe and the estimated time required to complete it.

He stressed the need to expedite the investigation and ensure that it is conducted transparently and concluded without unnecessary delay. He said uncovering the truth behind the plane crash was not merely a matter concerning his family but also a question of trust for the millions of people who admired Ajit Pawar.

Jay Pawar emphasised the need to address public concerns, thoroughly investigate all crucial aspects of the incident and bring the facts before the people.

He also called for a comprehensive examination of all relevant aspects of the case and appropriate action to ensure accountability if any wrongdoing is established.
