Pune: PM Narendra Modi Calls Sharad Pawar To Enquire About Health

Pune, 4th November 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi called NCP (SP) chief Sharad Pawar on Wednesday morning to enquire about his health and urged him to take care of himself, saying that he and Supriya Sule would look after the country’s affairs, Pawar’s close friend Vitthal Maniyar told reporters after the veteran leader’s discharge from Ruby Hall Clinic.

Recounting the conversation, Maniyar said Modi made the remark in a cheerful tone. Pawar, in response, assured the Prime Minister that he was taking care of his health and was not worried about the country’s affairs as leaders like Modi and others were handling them. Pawar also thanked Modi for calling and enquiring about his health.

The veteran NCP (SP) leader was admitted to Ruby Hall Clinic on Monday with complaints of pleuritic pain. He was discharged from the hospital on Monday and headed to Mumbai, said doctors.
