India Superbike Festival kicks off
Pune, December 5: India’s biggest and most awaited event of superbikes titled as ‘India Superbike Festival’ (ISF) 2015, a two day exhibition has begun from Saturday at Amanora Town Centre, Hadapsar, Pune.
A brainchild of city based super biker Amol Talpade, this is the fifth edition of this festival which is being supported by Amanora Park Town and Alpine Stars.
ISF is the first ever superbike event of India, which gives platform to the bikes that are over 600CC and above. It is based on the concept of congregating together the superbike owners to display their passion and possession. This year, ISF has spread its wings beyond just motorcycles and is now a full-fledged lifestyle automotive show with an added segment of lifestyle auto products, accessories and supercars.
Manufacturers like Suzuki, Triumph, Indian Motorcycles, Harley Davidson, Benelli and many more are showcasing their latest range of superbikes at the event. Superbiking groups and clubs across the nation along with the individual riders are also showcasing their superbikes for the enthusiasts at the festival.
The first day of ISF witnessed the huge crowd walking in to admire the beauty of most valued and priced superbikes, classic vintage motorcycles and supercars. Various superbikers’ groups entered the exhibition roaring and showing their strength to the crowd. The mob was thrilled when numerous groups of superbikers entered on the location roaring their bikes at its loudest exhaust sounds.
Groups like Goan Riders, Goa Superbikers, Ahmednagar Riders, Brotherhood of Bikers (BOBS), Lords, Bolt, Free Riders and many more have come to the festival from cities like Goa, Delhi, Surat, Ahmedanagar and of course Pune. The group members owned superbikes like Aquilla, Kawasaki Z800, Kawasaki Z1000, Ducati, Benelli, Harley Davidson, Triumph and many more.
The festival also has a special arena of vintage collection where more than 50 bikes which are 100 plus year old are being displayed. Supercars like DC Avanti, Audi R8 V10 convertible, BMW Z4 are also pulling the onlookers. There were many visitors who attended and enquired at the counter of superbike manufacturers and accessories.
While Sunday is the last day of this festival, it will be open from 11.00am to 10.00pm. The competitions like King of Burnouts, Best Accessorized Motorcycle, The Loudest Superbike will have their final round tomorrow 4pm onwards.
