IT secretary of Jharkhand signs MoU & MoA with Union Ministry of HRD

New Delhi– Today the MoU & MoA were signed by IT  Secretary of Jharkhand   Mr. Sunil Kr. Burnwal  on behalf of the state government of Jharkhand with Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), government of India, and three industry partners namely, M/s TATA Consultancy Services (TCS),  M/s TATA Motors Ltd and M/s Central Coalfield Ltd (CCL). It was signed in the Ministry of HRD, Shastry Bhawan, New Delhi.

During the meeting for signing the MoU and MoA, Secretary, Dept. of Higher Education, Ministry of HRD, Sri V. S. Oberoi; Chief Secretary, Jharkhand, Sri Rajeev Gauba and Additional Secretary, Ministry of HRD, Sri R. Subramaniam were present. Discussions were held on how to make IIIT Ranchi functional quickly before the next academic session. It was decided to hold the first board meeting of IIIT in the first week of January under the chairmanship of Secretary, Dept. Of Higher education, Ministry of HRD, Government of India.
