Coronavirus: After CBSE, now ICSE postpones board exams

New Delhi, March 19, 2020: After the CBSE postponed board exams yesterday in the backdrop of Coronavirus outbreak, now ICSE board has also postponed its board exams.

A press release issued by ICSE Chief Executive Gerry Arathon stated, “In view of the Novel Corona virus (COVID-19) spreading across the country and with much uncertainty and speculation in the air, the Council in the interest of the health and well-being of the students and the teaching community, has decided to postpone all ICSE and SSC Year 2020 Examinations scheduled to be conducted between the period 19 March to 31 March 2020.

The ICSE 2020 Examination was scheduled to end on 30 March 2020 and the ISC 2020 Examination was scheduled to end on 31 March 2020. The revised dates for conduct of the remaining papers shall be notified in due course of time. The Heads of Schools are required to ensure that all concerned candidates, teachers and parents are informed immediately.”
