Pune: Thieves Steal Gold Jewellery From Famous Sharda Temple In Mandai

Pune, January 8, 2021: Thieves decamped with about 200 gram gold jewellery from the Sharda Ganesh Temple in Mandai, one of the famous Ganesh Mandals in Pune, at midnight. The theft at the Ganesh temple, a place of worship for the people of Pune, has angered people in the city.
A theft case has been registered at Vishrambag police station.
The Sharda Ganesh temple is one of the famous Ganesh Mandals. Meanwhile, the area is usually crowded even at midnight and police also patrol the area. But even in this situation, the thieves entered the temple at midnight and stole the jewellery and cash.
After receiving the information, Vishrambag police and crime branch teams rushed to the spot. Police have started investigating the case based CCTV footage.
