Women of Influence Awards: Udgam Care Foundation Felicitates Women Achievers

Pune, 29 July 2021: The Women of Influence Awards was organised by Udgam Care Foundation on July 26, 2021 at Maratha Chambers Auditorium, Hadapsar.

Udgam Care Foundation is founded by Amita Verma and her daughter Neha Verma in 2018 with aim towards providing quality education and health care to kids, especially girls living in slums of Pune. Over the years Udgam Care Foundations has organised various toy donation drives, tuitions for kids, dental heath check-ups.

The main aim of this event is bring together all the inspirational women who have done commendable work in Social work, Arts, Education, Health, Entertainment, Digital Connect and Business. A total 50 women were felicitated from all over India.

Along with this, 25 women (Doctors, Nurses, safai Karamchari, women constables) who have done exemplary work in corona pandemic last year were also felicitated by the hands of Shri Jagdish Mulik (President-BJP, Pune city), Shri Ganesh Ghosh (General Secretary, BJP Pune), Shri Dilip Kalokhe (Vice President, BJP Pune), Smt. Gayatri Ratnadip Khadke (Corporator, PMC), Deepak Lagad (Sr. PI wanawadi), Shri Dhananjay Jadhav (Corporator, PMC). This event was fully supported by Mr. Mahesh Punde (Laksh Pratisthan President and Pune Cantonment BJP Vidhan Sabha Assembly President) and Smt Kalindi Punde (Corporater, PMC).

The 50 awardees were felicitated with certificate and sponsored gift from Chandukaka Jewellers, a leading jewellery brand in Maharashtra.

The awardees in Social Work category are: Smt Bobby Karnani, Geetanjali Kadate, Anupama Dongardive, Smt. Deepali Vishwas Pandhare, Dr. Gayatri Tewari, Smt. Meenu Bhosale, Smt. Sania Siddiqui, Smt. Purva Shah and Smt. Minakkshi Baleraao.

The awardees in Arts category are: Smt. Chaitrali Dhamankar, Smt. Manju Kaira, Smt. Pooja Doshi, Smt. Swati Kene, Smt. Shweta Jain and Smt. Prach DhabalDeb.

The awardees in Business category are: Smt. Shubhangi Chudhar, Smt. Romal Surana, Dr. Priti Kale, Smt. Rajashree Gagare, Smt. Sejal Ray (Socialpreneur) and Smt Shweta Goel.

The awardees in Digital Connect category are: Smt. Sangeeta Guha, Smt. Shilpa Venkat, Smt. Seema Tanwar, Smt. Geeta Jeswani, Smt. Swadha Goel, Smt. Sonia Konjeti and Smt. Abhilasha Belure.

The awardees in Education category are: Smt. Akansha Tyagi, Smt. Geeta Bora, Smt. Seema Limbore, Smt. Mrunmayi Mangeshkar, Smt. Harsha Seth, Smt. Poonam Landge and Smt. Snehal Darade.

The winners in Entertainment category are: Radhika Kulkarni, Aishwarya Seema Kale, Sonal Godbole, Sheetal Arpal, Pooja Wagh, NisargRaje and Pari Hamdule.

The winners in Health category are: Dr. Shubhada Joshi, Dr. Bhavisha Bhatti, Dr. Sharmila Pandey, Late Dr. Snehal Dilip Lunawat, Dr. Neelam Bansode, Dr. Meera Thakur and Dr. Leena Borude.

All eminent awardees were felicitated by guest of honour present in the award show. The guest of honour are eminent personalities from various sectors like Health, Education, Business, Entertainment and Social Work.

The guest of honour present in the event were: Smt Dr. Reema Kashiva (Noble Hospital), Mr. Amol Devan (Actor) , Mr. Sameer Khirid (Siddhi Foundation) , Smt Poornima Lunawat (Social Work) and Mr. Anand Sharma (Poorna Milk).

 Jury members Sonia Menghnani and Ujwala Bairagi picked up the best out of 584 nominations received from all over India.
