Bike Rider Bites Pune Policeman For Stopping Him For Traffic Rule Violation

Pune, 21 September 2021: A two-wheeler rider, who was stopped for violating traffic rules, threw a stone at a policeman and bit his hand. The incident took place in Erandwana on Monday midnight.

A case has been registered in this regard and Deccan Gymkhana police station has arrested Mangesh Shamakant Kale (29), a resident of Erandwana, for obstructing government work.

Policeman Parmeshwar Padale was on duty. Around midnight, accused Kale was seen violating traffic rules. When stopped, Kale started abusing and threatening Padale. He also pelted stone and bit his left hand.

Assistant Police Inspector Kiran Pavase is investigating the case further.
