Pune: Yerwada Police Arrest Youth For Breaking Car Glasses And Stealing Music Systems

Yerwada, 20th September 2021: The sleuths from the detection branch of Yerwada police station have arrested a thief who used to steal four-wheelers’ music systems.

 

The arrested accused has been identified as Irfan Khalid Syed (28), a resident of Laxminagar in Yerwada. He works as a plumber also.

 

According to police, a car’s glasses were broken and its music system was stolen from the parking lot of Yerwada ward office on 16th September. While investigating the case, Assistant Police inspector Ravindra Alekar received information about Syed who was trying to sell a stolen music system near Don Bosco school. The cops chased and nabbed him. Police found a car music system and an iron black adjustable grip(Pakkad) in the trunk of his two-wheeler.

 

During interrogation, he confessed to breaking the glass of a car parked near the ward office around 3 am on September 16. Investigation revealed that he had committed three more thefts.

 

Police have seized two woofers, one amplifier, one Android car music system, two screen tapes, one roof screen, and one two-wheeler, totally worth Rs 1.17 lakh.

 

This investigation was carried under the supervision of Deputy Commissioner of Police(Zone 4) Pankaj Deshmukh, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Yerwada Division) Kishor Jadhav and Senior Police Inspector Yunus Sheikh.

 

The team included Police Inspector (Crime) Vijay Singh Chouhan, Assistant Police inspector Ravindra Alekar, Khatke, ASI Pradip Surve, head constable Ganpat Thikole, Datta Shinde, Police Naik Tushar Kharade, Amjad Sheikh, Ganesh Wagh, Kiran Ghute, Sachin Mali, constables Ganesh Shinde, Anil Shinde, Rahul Pardeshi, Ajit Waghule and Swapnil Marathe.
