A library to preserve the collection of books of R C Dhere
Pune, February 12: A library is being created at Sahkar Nagar to preserve the collection of books of Ramchandra Chintaman Dhere, noted writer who is known for his outstanding work in Marathi folk literature and culture and the Saint poets from the state of Maharashtra. MLA Madhuri Misal has taken the lead to build a permanent structure / building for a library spread across 2000 square feet near Dhume High School in Sahkar Nagar, the work for which has already begun and is likely to get completed in next 3-4 months. The library is an attempt to showcase great works of Dhere to the people at large and to the new generation. Madhuri Misal is making a significant contribution from her MLA fund in creating this library.
