Altair and DesignTech Systems to set up Research-oriented Centre of Excellence in Collaboration with Govt. of India’s Science & Tech Park

Pune, 30 January, 2018 : The objective of this collaboration is to benefit the engineering students by building new research centers and giving better job opportunities to the youth, was stated by Shri. Dilip Band-President, Science & Tech park (STP) while briefing about this collaboration to the media.

Mr. Pratap Pawar, vice president of STP, said “Industries in Maharashtra will get a major support in high end skilled manpower”.

He added “including all the colleges of Maharashtra, the students will be made to enhance their skills as required for the industry and prepare them to face the industry and assure jobs to the students”.

Vikas Khanvelkar- Chairman & Managing Director- Design and Tech Systems said “The objective is to provide education to the students in rural areas, who cannot afford by reducing fee structure for them”. He further added that “engineering drop outs and retired people will also get an exposure to the latest technology”.

“Indian needs more designers and tech that is exportable. It will create manpower which industry needs”. Mr. Vikas signs off.

Dr. Rajendra Jagdale- Director General & CEO, STP said “This will promote many start-ups and that the park is collaborating with many other institutions like Rayat Shikshan Sanstha, Vidya Pratishthan Baramati, Deogiri education institutes in Aurangabad, Chhqtrapati Shahu in Pune amd similar institutes.”
