The Award function will be held on 20th December 2019, at Grand Sheraton, Bund Garden road. B.G Shirke Construction Technology Pvt Ltd is the sole sponsor for the initiative.

City Engineer, of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Rajan Patil said that in the Western Countries and the Gulf region, construction workers’ laborers (labor camps) are never present at the construction sites. Their accommodation is at a different location. However here, we have their camps on the construction site itself. Unfortunately, if there are some accidents then innocent victims are killed in such incidents. Therefore, builders should think seriously about this and Builders Association of India (BAI) should make efforts for the same.

Manoj Deshmukh, in his welcome speech reviewed the work that was being done by the Builders Association of India (BAI) and informed the audience about ongoing activities. He said BAI is working on the quality and improvement of construction and developing skills for it. BAI is also trying to make a code of conduct in construction industry.

Pradip Garge said that in the rural or small towns, construction professionals do not get the same facilities as they do in big cities. Still many builders maintain the status of construction. We are going to give awards to encourage them and we are going to expand the workspace of BAI.

On behalf of Jury Satish Bhujbal, Nandkumar Jethani, Jagannath Jadhav, Ratnarup Projects Pvt. Ltd., Bhate and Raje Construction Pvt. Ltd.’s Jaideep Raje, Colonel S.M. Adasar expressed their views. Mahesh Mirani did the anchoring and Sanjay Apte delivered the vote of thanks.
