Central Railway to Host 85th All India Inter Railway Athletic Championship
13 Aug 2019, Pune : Central Railway will host the 85th All India Inter Railway Athletic Championships men and women at Balewadi Sports Complex, Pune from 20th August to 22nd August. This event will be organised by Central Railway Sports Association with active assistance of Pune Divisional Sports Association.
It is anticipated that about 350 athletes across India representing all Zonal Railways and Production Units will participate in the gala event. Star athletes who representing India in International events like Sudha Singh, Lalita babbar, Chinta Yadav, Parul Chaudhary, Rintu Mathew, Sachin Patil will be seen in action. Renowned sportspersons like P T Usha, Bahadur Prasad, Rosa Kutty, K M Binamol, M D valsamma, Sanjay Kumar Rai, Rachita Mistry, Gurbans kaur will grace the event by their august presence.
Pune residents and residents from neighboring areas, sports enthusiasts are looking forward to witness the fastest and the most agile athletes of the country during the meet. It is a unique opportunity for one and all to be a part of this gala national sports event. Entry to the event is free.
