‘Coinex Pune 2019′ from Friday by International Collectors’ Society of Rare Items

12 November 2019, Pune:- The International Collectors’ Society of Rare Items’s the much awaited exhibition of the year Coinex 2019 will be held between November 15 to 17, 2019, at Sonal Hall, Karve road, Pune between 10 am to 7 pm with free of cost. The exhibition will be inaugurated on November 15 at 10 am at the hands of world famous archeologist honourable Prof. Arvind Jamkhedkar, chancellor of Deccan College, Pune and chairman of Indian Council of Historical Research, ICSRI President Pradip Sohoni and Founder Member Basti Solanki give this information in today’s press conference.

Joint secretory Shyam Mote, Treasurer Nitin Mehta and Ex-President Ravindra Joshi was also present for this press conference.
The International Collectors’ Society of Rare Items, Pune has exhibited over 49 various exhibitions over a period of 25 years which were themed around its tag line ‘knowledge through hobby’. The society has been working for awareness of the rich tradition and culture among youths to motivate them to preserve it through collection and its in-depth study.
At the exhibition eminent personalities including Amiteshwar Jha who has contributed immensely in the field of coin science from Nashik, Shri Shohin Daya from Mumbai, Shri Ashok Jayraj Singh Thakur from Chandrapur, Shri. Jagdish Agarwal from Kolkata and Dr. Manjiri Bhalerao from Pune will be awarded with lifetime achievement awards. Considering the history of the country, coins are being used for over 3000 years. Visitors will get the golden opportunity to see these pre-ancient coins at this exhibition. The exhibition will have a display of 45 frames, and some of the most rare coins will be on display for Puneites. The exhibition will have participation from collectors across India. Also, Puneites will also get an opportunity to buy and sell coins. Experts in this field will also help visitors to analyse the coins of collectors with respect to cost estimate, age of the coins, history, letters on the coins, pictures, impressions, among other details. Besides, renowned companies will conduct three auctions during the exhibition period. Besides this, a 25 gm token will be unveiled on the occasion of diamond jubilee celebration by the society. On Friday, November 15, 2019, at 2 pm, the society will also release a special envelope for the Indian Post to celebrate the diamond jubilee. The special envelope will be released by Hon. Shri. Col. S. F. H. Rizvi , Post Master General, Pune, and Col. K. C. Mishra, VSM (former chief Postmaster General Maharashtra – Goa region). The mega exhibition which will have very rare items will be under strict vigilance 24×7 for security purpose. Society celebrates its diamond jubilee Since the year 2000, the society has been organising exhibitions curated specially around coins and currency and also post tickets every year in November or December. Also, in the month of May, at Balgandharva Kaladalan, the society organises other collectors items exhibitions apart from coins and stamps. All these exhibitions have free entry.Two members of the society have their names etched in the Gunies Book of World Records and 45 members have their names in Limca Book of World Records. This is the only instance in the world where members of a single organisation have their names in the world records.
