Coronavirus Positive cases reach 157 in Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad
Pune/Pimpri: As per the latest information, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has increased to 157 in Pune district.
According to Pune Divisional Commissioner Dr Deepak Mhaisekar, there are 136 patients under Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) and Pune rural areas, while 21 patients are from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) areas. Out of 157, 27 persons have been cured and discharged from hospitals, while eight persons have died due to Coronavirus COVID19.
Today three male patients succumbed to the deadly virus during treatment at Sassoon hospital Pune. The 67 year old patient was resident of Parvati Darshan, 65 year old patient from Bhavani Peth, was referred from Adventist hospital on 3rdd April and another 65 year old patient was resident of Tadiwala road. All were having comorbid conditions (high BP, kidney ailments etc) and high risk groups.
