H.P. Srivastava of DCCIA conferred with ’Achievers Award’
Pune, February 22, 2020: H. P. Srivastava, Vice Chairman of Deccan Chambers of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture (DCCIA) has been conferred with the ‘Achievers Award’ by the Air Force Association (AFA)- Maharashtra, which is an organization of Air Force Veterans under Directorate at Air HQ.
H.P. Srivastava was honoured with the award at the hands of Air Chief Marshal P.V. Naik. (Retd) PVSM, VSM in a function held at Latif Hall at Air Force Station, Pune. Besides large number of Air Veterans dignitaries including Group Captain, S.S. Phatak (Retd), Wing Commander S. Kelkar (Retd.), President and Secretary of AFA- Maharashtra were present at the function.
Srivastava was a combatant member of Indian Air Force in Technical Cadre for over a decade. At present, he heads Human Resource and Commercial functions at Pune based Oriental Rubber Industries Pvt Limited since past 27 years. He also heads the South Africa operations of the company where it has set up a manufacturing unit. The award was conferred on him by the AFA-Maharashtra for his exceptional long-term contribution and achievement in corporate world post hanging his Air Force uniform.
