International Tennis Champions Marcelo Arevalo and Arjun Kadhe felicitate young & brave heart champions in Jupiter Hospital

Pune, December 28, 2018: International slammer Marcelo Arevalo and national champion Arjun Kadhe on Thursday visited Jupiter Hospital, Baner to surprise pediatric heart patients. The players visited children admitted in the pediatric intensive care units and also spent some time with children who successfully won their battle against congenital heart disorders by undergoing surgeries and interventions under ‘Hruday Sparsh’, an initiative by Jupiter Hospital, with support from Mukul Madhav Foundation, Pune, and other charitable organizations.

 

The hospital management was elated to organize this surprise event for these children who have stepped out of the hospital with a normal and healthy heart, after intensive pediatric cardiac care. Dr. Ajay Thakker, Chairman and Managing Director, Jupiter Hospital and Ms. Ritu Chabriya from Mukul Madhav Foundation Pune were present to welcome the players and the brave hearts.

 

The players spent some quality time with the children where they gave away gifts and roses to the brave heart champions. The sportsmen who always advocate about living life to the fullest, instilled a lot of hope in the young children and gave a lot of encouragement to explore all that life has to offer.

 

The players are in city for the 24th edition of ATP world tennis tour tournament ‘Tata Open Maharashtra’. Jupiter Hospital, as an exclusive health partner will be providing healthcare services to the national and international players at the event that is starting from 29th December at Mhalunge Balewadi Stadium, Pune. Making its debut in Pune, the tournament is hosted by the MSLTA and will witness more than 40,000 tennis lovers cheering their favorite players at the venue. To ensure their health and safety, Jupiter Hospital will be setting up first aid centres at the venue along with two fully equipped ambulances with qualified medical teams and medicines.
