Lavasa organises Dreamcatchers 2016 -Summer Camp (May 3-7)

Mumbai / Pune, April 25, 2016: After the success of last year, Lavasa City is once again ready to host DreamCatchers Summer Camp at Lavasa for age groups between 10 years to 16 years on 3rd to 7th May, 2016, with the objective of unlocking young talent and help to develop self-confidence.

The 4 day and 5 night camp aims to address topics such as communication skills, dealing with fear, developing life skills, creativity & out of box thinking thereby encouraging them to do well in all aspects of life. With the overwhelming demand , the registration has been made exciting this year with kids being required to send a one minute Whatsapp video explaining why they want to be a part of the Dreamcatchers Summer Camp at Lavasa. The best 100 entries will be selected for participation post which they can pay the necessary fees and register.

This unique summer camp that serves as a playground to children, attempts to bring around holistic development of the child amidst the picturesque landscape of Lavasa. The camp will entail a host of activities such as Sports, Music, Martial Arts, Dance, Drama, trekking, Adventure sports, Nature trail, group games & many more interesting activities. Apart from these activities, the children will also get an opportunity to interact with senior IPS officials and tenured Army personnel. Children will also be educated on the functioning of smart city, visit a water treatment plant , a hotel and the city management office.

Actor Gaurav Gera to give tips on acting & what one needs to have to become an actor, Fitness Expert Leena Mogre will conduct a session on fitness, Amaan Malik to conduct session on Music, Dance master Lauren Gottlieb on dancing, RJ Glenn on Entertainment & many others will share their experiences during this 5 day Summer Camp. Last day the parents can come and take back their children.

Lavasa is organising this Summer Camp in partnership with Pugmarks, a pioneering company in kid’s edutainment space. In the last one year, 170 schools have visited Lavasa from Mumbai, Pune, Ahmadabad, Hyderabad and Bangalore to experience the city. Along with education, the students thoroughly enjoy tourism at Lavasa, favorites being nature-trail and water-sports. In monsoons when there are hundreds of waterfalls, activities such as waterfall rappelling and waterfall safaris are a huge hit. And it’s not just schools; even colleges too enjoy the unique facilities of Lavasa. Engineering and Architecture students get amazed by the scale of planning and construction while others enjoy the flora, fauna and the amazing weather.
