Pragati Express runswith an all new look
Pune, November 5 , 2018 :The Mumbai- Pune Pragati Express has got a makeover under the project ‘Utkrisht’. After the makeover the trainran for the first time on Sunday, November 4. MP Anil Shirole inaugurated all new looking Pragati Express by showing a green signal to the train.
Shirole said that Railway is the lifeline of India that provides affordable and safe transport to common man. The efforts are being made from the government to make this service more passenger friendly and also to make it boost economy. Milind Deuskar, Divisional Railway manager, Pune division, A. K. Pathak, Station Director, Vijaysinh Dadas were present among the dignitaries.
Under the Utkrisht project, Pragati Express has got some new passenger friendly facilities, also it is decorated inside and outside. Upgraded facilities like better seats, better toilets, seat numbers showing in Brail for visually impaired passengers, mobile charging facility, LED lights, digital information board, digital clock and many more.
