Pune city will host space exhibition Organised by ISRO on February 15,16 & 17

9 FEB 2019 , Pune- Space technology has been always a fascinating topic among the students and people and it is the highest end of technology which increases the curiosity of gaining knowledge of space technology in depth but many times one neither get perfect answer nor understand.What is satellite and its applications (communication & remote sensing), what is mars mission(chandrayan & mangalyan), ISRO rockets how it works, how could satellite orbits around earth, how it functions, what is the necessity of it, most important how to join ISRO to be a part of space mission and many more curious questions will be answered in Space exhibition Organised in the city along with hands on experience of satellite launching and chance to interact with ISRO’s scientist.

Indian Space Research Organization(ISRO) organises exhibition to create awareness among the students and people in different part of the country now its turn of pune, with the help of College of Engineering Pune, Punekar Educational Initiatives and Suresh Naik Space Education Center’s Multi – pronged initiative,which aims to give huge thrust to space technology education in nation building.
History of ISRO will be displayed through posters, actual working models of satellite and various short documentaries based on Mars mission done by it. How to make career in space technology which will be the largest job producing technology in coming days, career opportunities in ISRO and career counseling session will also be there as a part of exhibition said, Suresh Naik, former group director ISRO in press conference. Demonstration of ISRO’s geo portal BHUVAN is also a part of exhibition. ISRO’S scientist are rarely available for the interaction but this is a good opportunity to interact with them in person, so grab this apportunity he added.

On 15 February, the launching of website sureshnaikcubsat.com would be followed by informative talk on space technology by Prof. Suresh Naik who is the pioneer of spreading space knowledge among the students in simplest way at remote areas through his Suresh Naik Space Education Centre Multi- Pronged initiative conducts interesting workshop called ‘Suresh Naik CubSat workshop’ which is designed to provide the first step training to the school students for the development of real satellite. Students are also trained to make a parachute and ground station. The climax of workshop is launching of the CubSat. In which students really enjoy of self-made satellite launching which flies upto 20m high with the help of drone instead of rocket.
Inauguration of exhibition on February 15,at 9.00am, Suresh Naik, Suhas Punekar and Suraj Mandhare, CEO, ZP Pune will be the chief guests.
