Classrooms built at Wadki school through CSR

Pune, 20th June 2018: A well known NGO Poona Round Table 15 has built new classroom blocks at Nutan Vidhyalay promoted by Sane Guruji Education Board located at Wadki. The newly built 4 classrooms blocks would benefit an additional 200 children every year besides giving the current 350 children a much better environment to learn in. The school office along with 7 old classrooms has also been renovated.
It is done under the “Freedom Through Education” initiative of Round Table India through a nationwide CSR tie-up with M/s. Bajaj Auto Ltd. Round Table India support the construction of classrooms and provides various allied infrastructure for needy schools which provide free education or provide education at a subsidized fee to students.
The school blocks were inaugurated at the hands of C P Tripathi, Advisor CSR, Bajaj Auto Ltd. and Chairman of JBGVS. Present on the occasion were Akshay Dugar, National Treasurer, Round Table India, Moriya Phillip, National Project Convenor, Round Table India, Avinash Agarwal, Chairman, Area 15 and Devesh Jatia, Chairman, Poona Round Table 15.
“It is important to give practical education to students than the rote learning. Hence, new technology must be imbibed. It is the right of every child to get education and in doing so, we are building the future of our country as responsible citizens.” said Tripathy.
Over the years, Round Table India has done tremendous work for underprivileged children. Round Table under the banner of “Freedom Through Education” has been building classrooms, libraries, science labs and sports infrastructure besides distributing books, bags and stationary in needy schools.
