108th Indian Science Congress 2021 to be held at Symbiosis International University Campus, Lavale

Pune, March 12, 2020 : Symbiosis International University has been chosen to host the 108 Indian Science Congress which will be held from 3rd to 7th January 2021 at Symbiosis International University Campus nestled on a beautiful 400 acres campus in the rural area of Mulshi Taluka, Maharashtra, India. 

The theme for 108 ISC 2021 is  ‘Science and Technology for Sustainable Development with Women Empowerment’. 

The Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA) established in 1914 owes its origin to the foresight and initiative of two British Scientists. The main objective of this association is to advance and promote the cause of science in India and to inculcate scientific temper among people. The ISCA organizes Annual Science Congress from 3rd to 7th January every year. Hon’ble Prime Minister of India will be inaugurating and gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Coincidentally, Symbiosis celebrates its golden jubilee this year (Jan 2020 – Jan 2021). To host the 108th Indian Science Congress during this golden jubilee year is indeed a huge honour.

This 108 Indian Science Congress will be a collaborative effort by involving every stakeholder across India and worldwide and will showcase innovate science models and practices undertaken worldwide especially in India and at the State of Maharashtra. The Government of India and State of Maharashtra has shown very strong support to host this prestigious Congress.
