1134 new patients detected in Pune district, Check areawise COVID cases
Pune, July 8, 2020: Till 9 am today, the number of Coronavirus Disease (COVID19) in Pune district has reached 31135. Till now 919 people have lost their lives, said Dr Bhagwan Pawar, the District Health Officer (DHO). He said that 157 new patients were detected in the last 12 hours.
According to the DHO, between 9 pm on July 6 and 9 pm on July 7 (Tuesday), 1134 new COVID cases were detected in the district including 584 in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 356 Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) and 119 from Pune rural areas, taking the total tally to 30978. There were 29 deaths yesterday including 22 in PMC, five in PCMC and two in Pune rural.
Out of total 30978, a total of 919 people have died while 19319 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 10717 patients are still undergoing treatment. There were 23 new cases in Khadki Cantonment and five cases in Pune Cantonment.
Pune Zilla Parishad has shared areawise new COVID cases in the rural areas till 9 pm yesterday.

The 30,978 patients include 22,861 from Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area, 5408 from Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 581 from Pune Cantonment, 248 from Khadki Cantonment, 30 from Dehuroad Cantonment, 1434 from Pune rural areas and 416 from municipal council (Nagar Parishad) areas in the district.
There are 16 from Baramati town, 19 from Baramati rural, 146 from Daund town, 1 from Jejuri, 49 from Talegaon Dabhade, 22 from Chakan, 22 from Saswad, 13 from Alandi, 11 from Lonavala, 6 from Shirur town, 2 from Junnar town, 20 from Indapur town, 5 from Bhor urban, 2 from Vadgaon, 23 from Rajguru Nagar, 589 from Haveli taluka, 86 from Junnar rural, 64 from Shirur, 134 from Mulshi, 37 from Velha, 37 from Bhor, 24 from Indapur rural, 59 from Daund rural, 91 from Maval, 179 from Khed, 69 from Ambegaon and 44 from Purandar.
