12 Indians Evacuated From The US Arrive In Delhi
New Delhi, 24th February 2025: A plane carrying 12 migrants landed at Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. The US is shifting people caught there to Panama. After this, they are being sent to their country.
This is the first flight from Panama to India. Four of the youth hail from Punjab, and three each from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. In the first three batches, the US has already sent 332 Indians. A total of 344 Indians have been repatriated so far. These 12 Indians from Panama were brought to New Delhi by Turkish Airlines flight. After this, four people from Punjab were sent to Amritsar on another flight.
The Donald Trump administration recently housed 300 immigrants deported from their country in a Panama hotel. Preparations are underway to send them back to their country. Costa Rica, Panama, and Nicaragua are working with the United States to expel immigrants. Only 171 out of 300 people in Panama have agreed to return to their countries. The rest have been sent to a camp. On February 5, the US sent 104 Indians. On February 15th, the second consignment sent 116 people and the third aircraft arrived on 16th February from the US.
In the first batch of illegal immigrants to India on February 5, a total of 104 people were transported on the US Air Force aircraft. The plane landed at Amritsar International Airport in Punjab. America was criticized after the picture of handcuffs on the hands and shackles on the feet of Indian people. The second plane, arrived on February 15 at Amritsar Airport with 116 Indians on board, this time too people were handcuffed and shackled. The hands and feet of women and children were not tied this time. The third flight of the US Air Force carrying Indian citizens landed in Amritsar on February 16 with a total of 112 NRIs. Seven children were also included in the batch sent from America. This time too except for women and children, all other people were handcuffed.
This way US is administrating and engaged in sending the immigrants back. They are first Imprisoned in a hotel in Panama and sent back from to their country from there.
