1282 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 33,047 Vaccine Doses Administered

Pune, 2nd July 2021: A total of 1282 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients reported in the Pune district today while 1246 people were discharged from hospitals. 13 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours. Today, a total of 21,324 doses of the COVID vaccine was administered to people in the district.

 

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 10,227 active patients in the district and 5672 of them are admitted to hospitals while 4607 are in home isolation. Out of 1282 new cases, 269 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 289 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 115 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 11 in cantonments and 598 in rural areas.

 

Among the 13 deaths, five were in PMC, two in PCMC, 1 in cantonments, and five in rural areas. Out of 1246 discharged patients, 220 were in PMC, 427 were in PCMC, 84 in municipal councils, 12 in cantonments, and 503 in rural areas.
