138 New COVID Cases Reported In Pune District; 78,804 Vaccine Doses Administered

Pune, 13th December 2021: A total of 138 new Coronavirus disease (COVID19) patients were reported in the Pune district today while 155 people were discharged from hospitals. 03 people succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours.

Today, A total of 78,804 COVID vaccine doses were administered in the Pune district today taking the total vaccination doses to date to 1,42,53,360. About 84,80,190 people have got the first dose while 57,73,170 people have got two doses.

According to District Health Officer (DHO) Dr Bhagwan Pawar, there are 1665 active patients in the district and 563 of them are admitted to hospitals while 1102 are in home isolation. Out of 138 new cases, 53 were reported in Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), 26 in Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC), 09 in municipal councils (Nagar Parishad), 05 in cantonments, and 45 in rural areas.

Among the 03 deaths, one was in PMC, one was in PCMC, and one was in rural areas. Out of 155 discharged patients, 83 were in PMC, 21 were in PCMC, 02 were in municipal councils, 03 were in cantonments, and 46 were in rural areas.
