1512 new COVID patients in Pune city, 30 deaths today

Pune, July 21, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 805 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 1512 new patients were detected while 30 people died today. Today swab samples of 6222 people were collected for COVID tests.

 

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 40,715 out of which 24,246 have been cured while 1035 have died. There are still 15,434 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 616 critical patients out of which 99 are on ventilator support.

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 12221 out of which 7811 have been cured while 226 have died. 3107 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 256 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 60 non-PCMC residents have died while 606 have been cured.

 

In Maharashtra, a total of 7188 patients were discharged while 8369 new Covid-19 cases were reported in Maharashtra today. Today, 246 COVID-19 deaths reported in the state, Case fatality rate in the state is 3.75%. The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 3,27,031 informed State Health Minister Rajesh Tope.

 

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,155,191 across the country. Out of this, 724,577 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 28,084 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 402,529 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
