1521 new COVID patients in Pune city, 20 deaths today

Pune, July 25, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 693 people were discharged from hospitals after being cured of COVID19 in Pune city today. Also, 1521 new patients were detected while 20 people died today. Today swab samples of 6090 people were collected for COVID tests.

 

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 47,065 out of which 27,418 have been cured while 1153 have died. There are still 18,494 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 673 critical patients out of which 115 are on ventilator support.

 

According to PCMC, the total number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 15,632 out of which 10,158 have been cured while 276 have died. 3,563 active patients are still undergoing treatment. There are 307 non-PCMC residents currently admitted in PCMC. Till now 74 non-PCMC residents have died.

 

The current count of COVID19 patients in the state of Maharashtra is 3,66,368. Today, 9251 patients have been tested as positive while 257 died. Also, 7227 patients have been cured today. Till now 2,07,194 people have been cured. There are still 1,45, 481 active patients in the state.

  

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 1,336,861 across the country. Out of this, 849,431 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 31,358 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 456,071 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
