17-year-old boy booked for peeping into a couple’s bedroom

Pune, June 6, 2020: The Pimpri Chinchwad Police have booked a 17-year-old boy for allegedly peeping into a couple’s bedroom around 1:30 am on Wednesday. The woman noticed that someone was looking creepily and recognized the boy as her neighbor, who lives next door.
Police sub-inspector CM Borkar of Dehu Road police station said, “The first thing that we did was to seize his phone and register an FIR. He was not arrested as he is minor. We are not sure whether he made any recording of the couple’s private moment or not.”
A case under Section 354(b) (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of Indian Penal Code (IPC) was filed at Dehu Road police station against the minor boy. However, the matter is under investigation by the Police.
